Perthshire (Scotland) - July 2002

I spent a week in rural Perthshire, off the beaten track in a secluded self-catering cottage between Lochs Tummel and Rannoch. The scenery is glorious and the weather was reasonably kind.

Dunalastair Laundry cottage, where I spent the week. It is down a graded track about half a mile from the road and there is a view from the lawn toward Loch Rannoch in the distance.
	Blair Castle, home of the Dukes of Atholl. It remains privately owned and there are fine gardens and a park.
