Bodegas Pedro Romero, Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz Province), Andalucia
This Manzanilla/Sherry producer, founded in 1860, remains 100% in the control of the founding family
- currently the sixth generation of the family runs the business
I visited on 23rd March 2007 and was fortunate to have a personally-guided tour - just for me;
the young lady who was my guide was in fact German, but as our only common language was French
my guided tour was in that language.
A view of a small part of one of the bodegas

In another of the bodegas staff are at work carrying out the criadera and solera rotations

My guide pouring us a glass each of Manzanilla, drawn straight from the barrel. Delicious and fresh!
